Structuralism is the idea of of analysing deep structure and the underlying culture phenomena. Structuralism, in other words gives, you  blueprint that you can redraw to map onto whatever you want. it is an interpretation of behaviour .

She is an excellent hunter and tremendously resourceful sixteen-year-old who is far more mature than her age would suggest. Katniss is the main provider in her family, which consists of Katniss, her mother, and her younger sister, Prim. Katniss is fiercely protective of her younger sister, and she volunteers to take Prim’s place in the Hunger Games to protect her. In fact, Katniss is more responsible than anyone else for her family’s wellbeing. Particularly, she is responsible for feeding her family, which she does by hunting. She learned skills from her father before his death in a mine explosion years earlier. Hunting, however, is illegal and punishable by death. Media Task Representation of woman in magazines —   What or who is being represented?         A female is being represented, she is a well known American female rapper known as Nicki Minaj and is well known in the music industry.      Nicki is a representation for women and how women are perceived by society, this is shown when Nicki Minaj's costume is a revealing dress that is unzipped and is showing cleavage. This magazine speaks about unzipping, this semantic field is used to create a coincidence of related words to intrigue readers especially men. —   How are they represented -, as strong, sexualised etc? Using what codes – body language, camera angle, costume etc?         T he body language used  is to show Nicki Minajs confidence and independence as she is standing straight up with her arms by her side.
